I am definitely getting an Ikon of one form or another for sure, just a question of which. I am curious as to anyone's general experience with it, and a few specific questions:ĭid you sufficiently enjoy skiing/boarding during Christmas week and other holidays? Or was it too much of a crowded and expensive (in terms of lodging, peak pricing on things other than lift tickets, etc) mess due to peak demand during the blackout days and you wished you did not bother to pay the premium for it? I would expect a lot of variability in experiences given seasons and locations, but it still helps to hearĭid you face any issues of some resorts effectively blacking out your "no blackout" pass by requiring Ikon holders to make reservations that were suspiciously not available despite the resort selling non-Ikon day passes? I saw a thread here with very pointed complaints on that here ( ) and elsewhere online but those complaints were a year or so ago and I am not sure how pervasive that might be or if maybe it was a pandemic specific issue that has passed over by now.Īny other positive or negative surprises with the Ikon Pass over the Ikon Base pass?
